Tombs of the Kings is one of the islands greatest archaeological sites and is located in Kato Paphos, just a short walk from the Damon Hotel Apartments. 

There are no actual Kings buried here, it was a burial site for noblemen of the time. Tombs of the Kings is a Hellenistic necropolis amd contains a series of eight well-preserved tombs and dates back to the third century BC.

It is well worth visiting the Tomb of the Kings. Visitors can wander down into the depth of these, mostly subterranean, rock tombs and view the atriums which still survive. The architecture of these tombs is quite impressive, some seeming more like houses than burial places. Sadly, very few of the frescoes  but you can see fragments here and there. What can still be seen are the structures of the tombs, their columns and porticos.

It is worth noting that the whole of Paphos is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
